"Complete the Dream" Campaign

GOAL ACHIEVED!!!!

Thanks to our caring and generous community!

YOU can MAKE A DIFFERENCE by supporting high-quality long-term care in Cape Breton!

The Northside Community Guest Home Foundation's "Complete the Dream" campaign aims to raise $300,000 for additional equipment, furnishings and activity items in "Cara House," its new 39 bed long-term care unit. Cara House services all 144 Northside Community Guest Home residents as well as 25 enriched housing residents.

Interested in Volunteering? Here are some ways you can help:

- Volunteer Fundraising Committee

- Hands on volunteer work (events, solicitations, ticket sales, administrative work, advertising...)

- Throw your own event in support of the Guest Home!

The list of needed equipment, furnishings and activity items at the Guest Home is every growing and changing as the needs of the Residents change. Help us maintain an up-to-date facility that has all of the comforts of home.

The Northside Community Guest Home Foundation's "Complete the Dream" campaign aims to raise $300,000 for additional equipment, furnishings and activity items in "Cara House," it's new 39 bed unit.

Funding was received from the Nova Scotia Department of Health for the construction and basic furnishing of the extension, however, to enhance the quality of living for all residents, further funding is needed and the Foundation encourages the public to support enhancing quality long-term care on the Northside.
